- Emitting light, especially emitting self-generated light.
- Enlightened and intelligent; inspiring: luminous ideas.
I was about seven when my family had a home in the foothills of Tucson, Arizona, with a great view for watching storms. My mother, brother and I would sit and watch in amazement of the beautiful lightning displays.
The night I saw a single cumulonimbus cloud illuminated by flashes from within I knew then that I had to capture the light!
Years later I was introduced to photography. I took pictures of everything and learned by shooting. One evening a storm moved in and out I went with my dad's Nikon FG and a tripod.
Since then I have had many great nights hunting and chasing storms. I have also added newer equipment to help me keep capturing natures creations.
Now living in Colorado, I look forward to chasing diferent kinds of storms accross the Rocky Mountains and out in the eastern plains.
